Dwelling includes the main structure of your home and other structures that are attached to it. Some common examples are:

• Attached garage
• Backyard deck
• Front porch
• Foundation
• Chimney
• Roof

There are things inside your home that may also be considered part of dwelling:

• Built-in appliances: furnace, water heater, etc. 
• Permanent fixtures: countertops, kitchen cabinets, upgraded hardwood flooring, etc.
